My areas of specialty include:

• Post stroke recovery
• Spasticity management (e.g. post stroke or brain injury as well as other neurological conditions causing contractures)
• Neurological rehabilitation including neurodegenerative problems (i.e. Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and others)
• Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal medicine including pre and post joint replacements
• Rehabilitation of pain disorders.
• People with functional decline and deconditioning after acute or chronic illnesses.
• Cardiac and respiratory issues requiring rehabilitation.
• Geriatric rehabilitation

I am an approved injector by the S100 program (highly specialised drugs program) for Botulinum toxin injections in Cerebral Palsy (adults) and stroke patients for spasticity management in which the government covers the cost of Botulinum toxin (conditions apply). Other patients with spasticity can also be seen and managed however they will not attract government funding for the Botulinum Toxin, I am more than happy to speak to them and explain what options are available.

My particular interests are the treatment of spasticity and dystonia as well as movement disorders and neuro-rehabilitation. I am also interested in pain rehabilitation.

I provide inpatient services at The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital and Eden Rehabilitation Centre. Both centres have a day rehabilitation facility for patients that do not need to be hospitalised. I visit Selangor Hospital and Caloundra Private Hospital.

I also have access to advanced outpatient rehabilitation services through My Turn Rehabilitation in Brisbane specialising in brain injury.
